Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Hacket Clothing Shop, we take as much care in ensuring your satisfaction as we do in crafting our premium menswear. Should any item not meet your expectations, our straightforward returns process ensures resolution with the same efficiency as our tailoring service.
Our Returns Policy
We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All items must be:
- In original, unworn condition
- With all tags attached
- In the original packaging
Please note: Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on socks unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Returns Process
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Email our customer service team at [email protected] with the following details:

I would like to return/exchange the following item(s) from my order #[Your Order Number]:
– [Item Name] in size [Size] and colour [Colour]
– [Reason for return/exchange]

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions
Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you:
- A prepaid return label (for faulty items)
- Return address details
- Further instructions if needed
Step 3: Package and Send
Securely package your return, including the original packing slip or order confirmation. For your protection, we recommend using a tracked delivery service.
Step 4: Processing
Once received at our Glasgow atelier, we’ll inspect the items and process your return within 3-5 business days.
Refund Information
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
For size or colour exchanges:
- Follow the standard returns process above
- Clearly state your preferred replacement item
- We’ll ship your new item once the return is received
Should your replacement item cost more, we’ll invoice you for the difference. For lower-priced items, we’ll refund the difference.
International Returns
Customers outside the UK:
- Are responsible for return shipping costs
- Should mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
- Will not have original shipping costs refunded
Damaged or Faulty Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the issue
- We’ll arrange a free return and expedited replacement
